Ehime sake in Happo-en

15 sake breweries come together in Happo-en. Ehime’s sake tends to be a little sweeter than other regions, although there are many dry varieties too.

At the event food is Mini Kaiseki Cuisine, ingredients from Ehime. (sit-down dinner)

Omachi Summit


Omachi rice, which is the best rice suitable for sake production, was discovered and developed in the Okayama area over 100 years ago. Sake made from Omachi rice is fragrant and has a mellow taste. The “Omachi Summit” which sake brewed by only “Omachi” gathers from all over Japan. You can taste differences by each brewery’s technique, even same sake rice used.
